CSV Import Template
Have your transaction data in a custom format? Simply transfer it into the generic import template and import it directly into your portfolio.
Template Columns
The CSV file uses the following columns:

| Date | Transaction date (e.g. 2024-01-15) |
| Type | Transaction type: Buy, Sell, or Dividend |
| Currency | Transaction currency (e.g. EUR, USD) |
| Quantity | Number of shares or units |
| Price | Price per share, or dividend amount per share |
| ISIN | International Securities Identification Number (12 characters) |
| Fees | Transaction fees (optional) |
| Taxes | Withheld taxes (optional) |
| Exchange | Trading venue — supports MIC codes and common names (e.g. XETR, NYSE) |
How to Import
- Enter your data into the template (or map it from your own format)
- Save the file as CSV
- In MoneyPeak, go to Portfolio → Upload File → CSV
- Transaction details appear automatically in the corresponding tabs
Special Cases
Stock Splits
The system handles splits automatically. Enter the original quantity purchased — before any splits occurred. MoneyPeak adjusts everything during import.
Ticker / ISIN Changes
For securities where the ISIN has changed: enter the old ISIN in the import file. The system processes the conversion automatically based on the date you specify.
