Compare Securities
Context is everything. With the comparison feature, you can add any number of comparison values to any chart — and see immediately how your portfolio or individual positions are truly performing.
How the Comparison Works
- Open any chart — on the dashboard, in your portfolio view, or on a security detail page.
- Click "Add Comparison" below the chart.
- Search for a comparison value: stocks, ETFs, indices, currencies, cryptocurrencies — anything goes.
- The price history is displayed as an overlay line in the same chart.
- Repeat steps 2–4 to add as many comparisons as you like.
The chart's time range applies to all comparison values simultaneously. Change it using the time range selector in the top right of the chart.

What You Can Learn From It
Contextualise Your Performance
+8% portfolio gain sounds good — but how did the MSCI World perform over the same period? Only a comparison reveals whether that's actually impressive.
Make Currency Risk Visible
Add EUR/USD as a comparison and see immediately how much of your US equity return was driven — or erased — by exchange rate movements.
Benchmarking
Compare your tech portfolio against the NASDAQ 100, or your German stocks against the DAX. Are you beating the market, or would an index ETF have done better?
Head-to-Head Security Comparison
Tesla vs. BYD, Apple vs. Microsoft, ASML vs. TSMC — who performed better over which time period, and why?
Spot Correlations
Bitcoin and gold, energy stocks and the oil price, banks and interest rate movements — uncover structural relationships between different assets.
Typical Comparison Scenarios
Portfolio vs. World Index
Compare your total portfolio against the MSCI World or S&P 500. See whether your active stock selection has added value compared to a passive index investment.
